The first 3 persons are well known in the community. The others - I am not so sure they are qualified. They may be good people and such, but are there no other well known volunteers or maybe I missed some of their roles, please correct me then?

I don't even know the 3rd name - don't remember reading it here (neither the ones below) and can't find it mentioned in the linked thread. Are they well known in BitcoinTalk?

I checked.  Nobody stepped up to the plate due to time constraints.  One of those names is a Vericoin dev.  I believe the rest are more prominent on BTT.  James, you feel comfortable trusting the "non-Nxt" individuals based on their BTT participation, correct?

Some guys are selling tokens well under 0.01 btc at Bter, good opportunity to grab some.
I would grab for another 10 btc if only I had btc left. btc's are also rather cheap these days.

It's quiet alright because I am currently very busy with a host of responsibilities and I may be involved in Supernet in other capacities in the future, but I and a few others volunteered in the thread and were not contacted. So I'm not sure if some people fell through the cracks.

I also think it's good that people from other communities like pnosker are involved.
Fits with the whole theme of Supernet.

I look forward to getting to knów these people that I do not know yet.  :)

Hello all my NXT/Supernet brothers and sisters,

You new cousin - Boolberry (BBR) is getting a facelift.

Boolberry - the brand - is being retired after months of discussion.  A new brand is being choosen.

If you are a supporter of the BBR coin and technology, please come and cast your vote for the new name and brand:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=786527.new#new

Thanks! :)

SuperNET should consider including Vertcoin (VTC)!

I'd say yes because I've been following VTC for a while...but what unique features do they offer aside from their version of the Scrypt algo?  Also, from what I can tell, their developers aren't very active or engaging...and their community is next to non-existent.  Please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Is there anybody available to code review the SuperNET routing code?
It is currently all in a single file of 666 lines!
spooky :)

It is doing the onion routing and tokenizing and hopefully properly routing without leaking any private info or exploding the packet traffic

Here are the seven proposed to be on the Authorization Committee as described in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346.msg8748412#msg8748412

Dom P
EvilDave
Emoneyru
n3lz0n
Steve
idev
pnosker

I believe all but "Steve" have the same handle in BTT and NXT, hopefully this will be confirmed.

So if there are any objections to any of these from serving on the Authorization Committee, now is the time to object

James

This is correct James. I prefer to lurk BTT at most. I could create a handle if the need be. Otherwise, all else equal, i'd like to remain unaffiliated with BTT. Your call.

VTC has incorporated stealth addresses moreso than any of the other non-Cryptonite coins.
It uses the same technology Dark Wallet uses for BTC stealth txns: http://sx.dyne.org/stealth.html

So if bitcoin can already do stealth addresses then it really isn't adding anything unique then is it?

What it adds is being one of the only SuperNET coins that users can actually mine themselves with mining hardware profitably.
Scrypt-N is one of the few ASIC resistant algos out there, and VTC is far and away the most profitable coin to mine nowadays.
