Now seriously, I have a question:
What does Jelurida expect from the community? Taking into account that it is not involved in the Jelurida agreements due to NDA. How we know if we are in the right path?

Thanks

where is support ...
You should try opening a support ticket at Jelurida's Support Desk: https://desk.zoho.eu/portal/jelurida/home
I think it works pretty well.

Will there be a new technical roadmap released for 2018 and beyond?

Will there be a marketing roadmap released for 2018?

Which exchanges have you applied to (of the 3-5 you mentioned in your announcement)? Will you continue to make efforts to add on to more exchanges beyond 2018?

What is your plan on improving Jelurida's exposure to other countries (America, Asia, Africa, etc...)?

What are your plans after 4yfn?

How many child chains do you think are necessary to make ardor a successful platform?

What are the updates on recent hirings of developers, marketing team, business team, and support team?

Besides solving block-chain bloat and scalability, please provide specific use cases that ardor/ignis and NXT can help business right now and any examples that are being worked on currently? (without breaking any NDA)

Due to many people asking from different social media platforms, can you be more specific on what has been spent and will be spent from the 15 million raised from the Ignis ICO?

Thanks!

The 2.0.10 hard fork caused a lot of problems. Will you consider publishing a postmortem describing what trade-offs you weighed in the decision to hard fork so quickly? In the future, what can be done to make hard forks go more smoothly?

Are you able to share any details about your plan for delegating child chain tx processing to dedicated subnets?

Thanks!

Do you have any immediate plan to be among the first to integrate with the Lightning network, alongside LTC & ETH? If not, why not, especially when Ardor is being pitched as a Baas platform.

hello all,
came from reddit, just registered to ask a question here, so my first post :)

It is not a clear yes/no type of question but I would like to hear your thoughts:

How do you see the governance for ardor?

- jelurida is a company
- ardor is open source, is jelurida the BDFL
- ardor holders / forgers are required for jelurida to run the business
- ardor holders are something similar to stakeholders but not quite, there is also ignis

What if there were controversial decisions to be made? I.e. the aims of the ardor forgers and of the company, or between holders, would diverge?

- ardor could fork
- ardor could clone (ignis holders might get some stake of the cloned platform but this makes the whole thing only more complicated, why aren't ardor holders considered for the JPL 10% airdrop policy?)
- the staking power of the network could drop drastically if a large part of the forgers decided to not upgrade for a fork

How were difficult decisions, if there were any, handled in the past?

Imho, a good policy is vital for the long term success of a platform, in order to decide future development roadmaps for example.

Thanks and enjoy BCN!

Hi  :-X

this forum is full of questions in wait for clear answers...

my question is simple, who are you?
Riker said here that you are a kind of marketing actor... we need more infos...!
https://nxtforum.org/index.php?topic=15430.msg241266#msg241266

we are really tired of false prophets and smoke screens ... please, introduce yourself and post your CV so that the community can know if you are up to the job and eligible to act on our behalf...

...

Now seriously, I have a question:

pretty good questions here! thank you for asking  :D
so, What does Jelurida expect from the community after so many frustrations since the first round of the ICO and it continues?

Quote

NDA means Non-Disclosure Agreement, so the question is, are there things that Jelurida voluntarily hides from the community? what ? why and where  ??? can you explain a bit this NDA please , ty

an other important question that i read around is where are the the ICO's 15M$...
i'm talking about the geographic location and jurisdiction of this money and where are taxes paid ... in other words, did we put our money in a war zone...?

so as i said, this forum is full of questions in wait for answers...

Are there plans to rework the UI of the ardor client?

There should be a simple (dumb as nuts) UI, so that sending, receiving and viewing transactions are fast and easy. This will improve mainstream uptake on Ardor, Ignis or any currency running on the platform. You can always add an advanced/expert button that can then expand into the current UI for power users.

She can answer herself although she might be pretty busy, specially with MWC going on. But I can vouch for her credentials and I know her personally.

This said, please let's keep this on topic - question proposals for the planned video series with Lior.

Great! I think the Q&A is a good idea!

My question:

I really like the decentralized Ardor exchange. Although there have been improvements regarding the UX it is still difficult to use and there are not many orders which makes it hard to use.

Are there any plans for building an exchange within the client that has the look and feel people are used to from the big exchanges? With charts etc?

Thanks!

These are my questions, about how we get volunteer open source developers active on the ardor code, so it is not only jelurida that has to do all the work.

What is the process an independent (non-jelurida) develper follows, if the developer has some idea the developer would like to discuss and develop for the ardor client and server?

- Where/how does he write up his informal proposal

- Where is the proposal crafted, discussed by users, developers and other stakeholders ( something similar to bitcoin-dev mailing list?  )

- Where/how does he write up his formal proposal (something like a Bitcoin Improvement Proposal)

- When the proposal is mature for implementation, should the developer then fork the bitbucket ardor, implement his changes there, and do a pull request?

What is the recommended "path" to follow, if a developer wants to help out with the ardor software development on a from time to time basis, but need information reg. how to get started.

Is there a list of stuff that needs to be done as well as instructions on how to test ones changes, are there unit tests and other tests, and instructions on how to run them?

How can non jelurida developers quality check, review test and do feedback to new and future features of ardor?
Right now it seems like the commits are posted to bitbucket at the same time as the binaries are released, this leaves no room for anyone to quality check, test and do feedback to changes (made by jelurida and not placed in pull requests before binaries are released) before they take effect. If this is a permanent solution, how will jelurida reduce the risk that a bug slips through to production unnoticed because only jelurida has seen and run the code before it went live?
I think it could become a problem for thirdparties and vendors if they have no time to test their stuff with upcoming versions.
It would be more safe if there was a phase before the binaries are released where the code can be run and tested and commented upon by third party developers and users.

My question is:
How flexible is a childchain. So assuming that a customer wants only voting or only marketplace or maybe tokens being released on a regular basis, like bitcoin, maybe based on stake, etc
So basically how far can a childchain go in terms of flexibility.
