wtf happened to SuperNET?
Not sure you are in the position to write such a sentence.

I still remember your asset with the bar&cafe concept which you neither finished nor liquidated! You were the first scammer I came across and I am wondering where you take the guts to come back to this forum?

James decided to stop posting on Nxtforum for an indefinite time, so he asked to be locked out of his forum account to avoid burning in discussions time he preferred to spend developing. If anyone here wants to discuss his projects or assets, the best would be to do it on SuperNET slack where he can both read and answer.
I'm pretty sure that this story is incorrect. In reality James got angry that for the 3-rd time backwards compatibility got broken and that's why he decided to abandon NXT. ;)
Anyway, jl777 is very active in Waves and SuperNET slacks.
As far as projects go:
- MultiGateway is working well
- SuperNET Lite wallet is working well
- Iguana client is working and is the fastest BTC client so far

Yes, there were busts like NeoDice or InstantDEX, but he's not a scammer by any means.

But yes, I agree that he's slow. And he uses C... Which is not a good choice of language IMO for financial things.
In fact his code is VERY low level, including lack of Makefiles... For example he uses .sh files with "gcc" commands inside to compile his code... WOW! :o
As far as his knowledge of algorithms, math and overall intelligence goes, it's all very high.

I'm pretty sure that this story is incorrect. In reality James got angry that for the 3-rd time backwards compatibility got broken and that's why he decided to abandon NXT. ;)

After the initial Nxt 2.0 announcement by the Nxt core devs, James decided to migrate his development to be based on BTC/BTCD, indeed.

But after the (often harsh) discussions that ensued, he did ask to have his Nxtforum account indefinitely locked because he did not want to spend more time arguing and preferred to save that time for his current development work. So what I posted is correct, I know because I filled his request.

In what respect? All I see is Nxt losing against NEM and NEM winning against Nxt, while in fact we need to be winning. Anyhow. Bought another 70k NXT at 3,5k sat. Who joins me?  ;D

More money printing on the table. Automatically good for the safe haven status of cryptocurrencies.

nah ah!
Everyone knows printing money = good for economy.
What is good for economy will increase confidence in our current leaders and policy makers and in the end lead to the death of crypto!

You call them weaker holders, I call them smarter by cashing out with a profit  ;)

So you bought NXT again? ;)

Carney announced the likelihood of lower interest rates and more QE for UK today. Quite possibly a catalyst for BTC rise.

NXT seems to have less volatility than NEM. Possibly because of the longer period of flushing out weaker holders.
You call them weaker holders, I call them smarter by cashing out with a profit  ;)

wtf happened to SuperNET?
seemingly dead... James occassionally posts some nonsense here and there (not on this board though) and folks tweet that out to seemingly show some sense of progress... but it ain't there - seems to be pretty much in the same shape as mid 2015.

Just remember these words:
EVERYTHING James touches NEVER gets finished to a fully working state.

You've known him for how long? SMH. Its people like you that are the reason NXT had a 3 year bear market.
Since early 2014 (february/march?) to be precise. I have tested several of his "workings".
I know one of his developers and the stuff I heard from him... It's good that that never gets public.
Over the years I've had my personal share of interactions with James in public and through PM's.

So you might say I know James  ;)

No, that doesn't qualify you as "knowing James" or saying nothing he ever works on ever gets done.  Its just a stupid inflammatory opinion that is so easy to offer on a forum like this.  If your developer friend thinks the same why is he working with James? Maybe, since you've tested "his workings" you can share the technical details of these that lead you to the conclusion that none of them would ever be finished. Please, educate us...

Bought and sold, yes.
I only day trade.

In the morning I open my positions and by the time it's bedtime I have sold everything and back to fiat.
On the very rare occasion I leave something open during the night.

My developer friend stopt working for him  ;)
He did make a nice buck though.

James never finishes anything. The devs around him try to finish the stuff he thinks of. That's why I don't speak ill of those devs, THEY are the ones that make it work or at least try to.

It's all my opinion, but fortunately I'm not alone.
Read back this forum and the old Bitcointalk forum. Should give you a different opinion.

But as always: once someone lets people make a lot of money they are considered a god and untouchable.  ;)

The charts at nxtportal.org/charts/ seem to be wrong (the large increase in NXT per day can not be seen there). Anyone knows why?

The charts are generated by directly querying the Nxt node database.

Thanks for the explanation, but I was just testing your knowledge. As I expected, I have forgotten more about James than you've ever known about him. You are just spouting circumstantial claims based on motivations of a typical crypto daytrader.

Come back in 2020 and if James hasn't delivered an awesome product(s), we can start to have this conversation.
