just thought i would start this thread!

nothing more enticing to newbies then profit so why not give them some numbers to chew on to get the stomach juices going! lets not lie.. we are all in this for profit!

10c a piece after asset exchange goes live? 1 dollar by xmas day?

If this was September I would agree but the year is yet young. I think we should at least get close to $1 by the end of the year.

BTC nor Nxt has any positive momentum from a price standpoint. Might mean it's a good time to buy. The development and adoption of both still seems to be going well. Probably just a matter of time before we see higher prices. I think it might be awhile though. So hard to predict. I'll guess we hit 35 cents this year and a dollar in 2015.

I'm primarily interested in the network as a liberation tool. I hope that everyone involved makes money while achieving that, but if I could ensure my hopes at the cost of my investment, I'd take it in a heartbeat.

Having said all of that, I have no idea where the price may go but I also suspect that it will surpass .10 before long.

10¢ sometime this year. Originally I thought a possibility of $1 by early summer, but I might've been huffing glue or car exhaust at the time.

If we as a community listen to the advice of Messieurs Levine and Mindtomatter, I think $1 is ~~inevitable~~ possible this year given what the AE offers.

We need to value the contribution of users like jl777 and CIYAM. Not ass kiss, coddle or play sycophants, but respect and value -- disagree when necessary, but not hammer with baseless negativity either. We have CIYAM here now, and look forward to James migrating over.

has it not already hit 10c? id say more then 10c by the time AE launches maybe more a week or 2 after... if its 70c or so by xmas il be happy.. but if bitcoin explodes like so many people think it will then id say 1 dollar or more by xmas

Nxt isn't the only cryptocoin with an AE, I doubt the AE will boost the price much. I think $1 per nxt is too optimistic. Personally Transparent Forging is the feature I'm waiting for. Fast transactions are the holy grail of cryptocoin features, and no other coin plans on implementing this feature, so it will set nxt apart from the rest. The nxt clone coins being released soon will probably take some wind out of nxt's sail when they launch.

$1 will be 10% of bitcoin market cap. I think it is easily achievable if people would use Nxt as a platform of all kinds of coins.

Until the day comes when btc is not the bridge currency for alts or for NXT, then I will be more concerned with the BTC/NXT price than the NXT/USD price.

If BTC were to go to $5000 next week, NXT would also rise 900% in price. But not really.

I am interested in what the BTC/NXT ceiling is. Like can we ever get to .001 btc? And if so, how long?

That would be a great goal, imo.

I am not sure but I will be buying as soon as my Coinbase deposit comes through tomorrow. Then again, I always buy and never sell since I think that NXT is a bargain and these are still the early days. I do not intend to miss out on opportunities quibbling over satoshis.
