1. Countries like India rank high on bots when it comes to social media accounts. Hence - your post proves further that you used bots
2. User interaction is highest for countries where marketing is bat shit cheap. Am sure you marketed your product via paid advertising to nations where its cheapest to market.

Give me a logical explanation as to WHY Indian's have been liking (uhm .. they haven't )
Give me a logical explanation as to why - Indonesians are in love with your product (except for the fact that you've been hosting fake competitions and pissing them off - read their comments)

Read these too

I do respect the coder for his work. Developing something like this requires dedication and skill. however, it remains my right to hold an opinion and question him on something I find wrong.
My offer to "help" still remains as I believe in collaborating.

Hope I've helped you.

If you ARE  spending money on these likes - please utilize it properly and market towards the right bunch and not the wrong crowds.

Twitter rankings are a bit different...I think it's:

1) South Africa
2) USA
3) UK
4) Israel
5) Canada

i'll search out the numbers.

I think New York is the leading city.

Twitter works in a different fashion.
I'll take your lack of response to my questions as an agreement to what I'd stated.
Am glad you've decided to look into the matter at the very least

Cryptedxypher, I am really curious to why getting likes from Jakarta, Indonesia is such a scary sight to you? Do you maybe have a skewed perception about this city/country in terms of use of technology in media and communication?

Allow me to give you a glimpse of a picture of what's going on there:
- 12th spot in the global ranking of Internet users,
- 60 million mobile users last year, predicted to be 125 millions by 2017,
- 80% of mobile users spent 38 minutes for chatting, surpassing browsing time,
- 73% of mobile users spent about 23 minutes a day using BBM,
- BBM is still a top player,
- 57 and 30 percent of users used WhatsApp and LINE for only six minutes and five minutes a day, respectively,
- Other chat applications, such as WeChat, Kakao Talk and Facebook Messenger, were only used by between 7 and 28%.

BUT, these numbers are changing. WhatsApp and LINE become more and more popular. Most mobile users are in the possession of more than 1 mobile devices; remember pre-BMM app on Android time? people would have 2 mobile phones just so they can keep in touch with as much friends as possible.

I am not pulling a tantrum on the fact that countries from East Asia are liking this page.
I am an asian myself and I know for one the fact that these countries can be a game-changer when it comes to pushing an app or service towards mainstream adoption.

What I "am" trying to prove though, is that these likes and comments are not legit/valuable.
Anyone with their experience in social media will know what I've been trying to prove.

It's not a scary sight ... it's a suspicious sight. Everybody who knows a thing or two about social media knows that most of the bots usually come from those places. I've raised this thought in this thread before that their facebook activity might be fake.
It just makes no sense what so ever that an app which is neither in the appstore nor in the playstore has that many fans already. You would at least expect a startup with that kind of fame in those countries to be featured in a lot of tech blogs. Haven't found anything. And haven't found some big media campaign aimed at those countries to justify the numbers.

Of course, I can't prove it. But the suspicion is there and landomatas short, empty responses without really adressing any points cryptedxypher made just strengthened that suspicion.

Hmm... alright. Sorry for ignoring your motive. Maybe, I'll take a look at those likes.

But, I can give you one reason as to why "Indonesians are in love with your product". After the Australia-Indonesia wiretapping drama (we are talking about president's direct communication line, right here!): Indonesia is now perceived as a country that is very prone to wiretapping operations and that is easy to be ashamed of. This is because no serious action is taken by the government.

A number of ministers has become a victim too. This is a problem not only to high officials but celebrities and common folks too; there are a lot of private media and information leaked! But, then again, which country doesn't have this issue? :S

How exactly did you get these likes, if there are no tech blogs in india that are featuring you? Customers can't just "find" you out of the blue.

Did you not see the link I provided above plus the insight numbers from Facebook.

I think I will post the screen shots of my panel then to allay these fears.

Those insights are not a true measure of your likes.
Its the comments/activity on your page that actually matters.

There's a post on your page with 20k likes when your entire page had all of 15k likes - and am dead sure you didn't have all that much viral activity going on , judging by the number of likes.
Also - please! I handle PR for a number of major projects and I know every news outlet here quite closely and I can ASSURE you - that previous post / PR release will NOT do whats needed to get you 15k likes.

Link me to it and I'll give you reasons why that statement too is bull shit :)
Can't be bothered digging through 30 pages of responses.

Again, now am calling you out because you haven't backed yourself AT ALL.
If the community here still respects you and thinks your social media was awesome  - I can't help but pray to god almighty to bless these folks.

Well that is actually what we have tracking from the beginning the Engagement index provided by Social Baker and our score is over 50% on an average day.

All we care about is engagement...that's all that matters.

Actually there is this pic that has more than 30,000 likes:

https://www.facebook.com/645168825569486/photos/a.650530295033339.1073741828.645168825569486/715976335155401/?type=1&theater

Now obviously this is fake, it's best if you just admit to that and move on.

The pic also has a bunch of  insightful comments like "wow, amazing", "nice pic", "wow", "i like it", etc...

You do realize most of those accounts are banned?
Why ? because they are fake botted accounts.

Am I talking to a rock here?

Much wow! Such engagement

Man.. I came in peace, now I'll have to leave with pity.
Please - just admit you brought these likes. Life goes on and maybe those who had some respect for you might lose a bit of it - but life will go on and your e-dick will  stay .

Also you posting people (which btw runs into 300 or so in that single post) - won't stop me from seeing their accounts.
Such shit you talk buddy.
