THESE MGW RELEASES NEED TO BE SIGNED SO WE CAN VERIFY THE SHA256 IS LEGITIMATE!

No need to shout...

longzai1988 is moving into github so we can link the releases directly to his repo. Along with this, I'm sure he will start to also publish a security hash with every release.

Website is waiting for action from hosting company to activate the purchased SSL. At this moment, I could add to the MGW downloads some integrity MD5 checksum or even calculate SHA256 myself, but maybe the developer should provide that hash.

He needs to sign the message which has the SHA256 hash for the MGW software, like Jean-Luc does for the NRS releases and publish his GPG fingerprint.

I'm sure he can add GPG signature to releases. I'll forward to him the suggestion, thanks.

We do have a Multigateway User Support Thread already, I wouldn't want to start another :)
Maybe move that one over to general discussion?  Looks like a better explanation than mine.. and I'd rather not worry about keeping it up to date if you are willing to.

Or maybe it belongs here instead or additionally: https://nxtforum.org/multigateway-jl777/

I opened that user support thread to offer a support link to mgw website visitors, and we wanted to keep it in the MGW releases board, but you're right that the detailed tuto should be visible in the forums as well. I'll try to add it to the support OP soon. And any guides or user reports like yours are also welcome, more references for whoever does a search!

Sorry... how is that related to Multigateway? You mean you withdrew mgwBTC and gave a BTCD account as destination address?

James mentioned we need to tell the MGW servers a withdrawal address for your account, and then the transaction should go through. We hadn't found the case before since in testing withdrawal address was normally defined before withdrawing. Stay tuned.

Ok, i meant to send it to the same account as my other 0.1 transaction. 1Hpt3xyjyvWpqqQ4XXXXXXXXX

Other than operator stupidity, the MGW works great!
