now wahts going on with 22222?

ive got a lot for repeat forgers

22222 has done about 30 out of the past 100, EVPAD a couple, EUWFN as well

Those have large enough effective balances, but they don't do a lot of blocks in a row. The most I see from 22222 forger (it's a pool) is 2 blocks in a row, EVPAD as well, 2 blocks in a row is the most it did.

22222 has 28k, unless there is more leased.. how do you see leased balances in the NRS?

22222 has done max 2 in a row, but 30 out of 100 is a lot.. and after the last 2 in a row, there has been no block for 20 minutes

22222 is a pool. There was another blockchain explorer that showed effective balance, but I forgot the link.

I believe there are 3 active pools now. Perhaps it's a good idea not to lease any more balance to the NXT-K5KL-23DJ-3XLK-22222 (1460178482) pool, it's big enough.

For anyone that missed it, here is Jean-Luc's write up on the GLEFU incident  :D :D :D

Interesting how far a discussion based on incorrect assumptions can go. There has been no malformed or malicious transaction whatsoever. There is no bug in the AE code.

The only bug was in the calculation of unconfirmed balances for accounts that long time ago had a transaction with referenced transaction set, while having a balance less than 100 NXT. It resulted in those accounts being incorrectly refunded a deposit against their unconfirmed balance, which deposit they never paid in the first place, thus leading to the unconfirmed balance being higher than the real balance. The fix was to start deducting/refunding this deposit only after a certain block, in the past, at a point where this logic was already there.

And since unconfirmed balance should never be higher than actual balance, the RuntimeException is there to enforce this constraint and protect against any future bugs that may lead to such an invalid account state.

The GLEFU forged a block about 20 minutes ago and things seemed to grind to a halt a couple minutes later.  2 accounts (both ending in 22222) forged blocks at 12:36 and nothing since.

Anything amiss?

So what if our accounts still show a higher amount for unconfirmed balance than for the regular balance?
part of me wonders if the pool had contributed to these errors (it was accidently using NRS 1.02 the night this happened, whereas now it is using the most current NRS version).

are there very many other accounts that have sent out literally thousands of txns?
