I have an existing NXT server account but would like to make an additional purchase of NXT using litecoin but coinbase says invalid litecoin address? I get the address from the server clicking on shapeshift and enter litecoin? Please advise

Yup, it definitely stalled with over 2 million to go. I got mine, then tried to buy more 15 minutes into the sale and it went through instantly. The next two rounds at .76 are going to be problematic. Not to mention 200M more coins at over $1.

EDIT: At over 1 NXT, not 1 USD.
I wasn't paying attention. It looks like the first sold at 19:04 and the last at 20:31 UTC, with nearly 500 transactions. Is this a good thing, as it means anyone who now wants to buy, can? The rate is less good than it was, but then selling NXT for BTC has a poor rate now too.

It's a good thing, many people got frustrated in rounds 1 & 2 and gave up, now they'll come back. Round 4 might be a different story though, but I think this round will sell out relatively quickly still.

In round one 1 NXT = 4500 Sat. 1 JLRDA = 0.4 NXT = 1800 Sat. In round four 1 NXT = 2000 Sat. 1 JLRDA = 0.76 NXT = 1520 Sat. So, the guy who ran away with all the JLRDA in the first few rounds did not get such a great deal afterall ...

This calculation can only be valid supposed that
1. The buyer sold BTC for NXT
2. The buyer sold his/her BTC just before the ICO round.

There are many(?) people (me included) who had already NXT for a long time and therefore didn't care about the NXT to BTC rate. There are also people (me included) who don't buy NXT via BTC, but with fiat directly.

What is unique about the Ignis chain other than it is the first child chain of Ardor? Will it be unique from all other child chains?

It will always have value in being first.
Case in point, Bitcoin itself.

Re: IGNIS ICO

Ok, so some of the maths is too much for my brain.... but

After sitting through the drama/action of the first round and second round without scoring ANY JLRDA, I was finally able to participate in the first wave of round 3 and sold about 95% of my NXT for JLRDA.    since then, i went and sold other currencies and bought more NXT (which has dropped in price since the first round) and during the last wave (4 of 5) was able to purchase more.   as of 2200 UTC time on 9/12/17 there's STILL JLRDA available for purchase.

So... should I be concerned with this?    does everyone out there have what they want?   Are smarter minds than mine waiting for Jelurida to cash in their NXT and drive the cost down further (therefore making additional NXT cheaper to buy and making remaining JLRDA tokens a better value)?

I don't hear much about his ICO anywhere outside of very small and well informed circles.    I think that maybe the JLRDA team is super genius at programming and design, and like a lot of talented artists, aren't the greatest salesman or businessmen.

I think they want the community to get their chance first.

They've hired pro's for promo and marketing but they work closely with them. Next round (4) is in 10 days.
Let's watch the media and pre-orders. Let's see, they might catch interest. As you say, I haven't heard much about the ICO either.

But you know the tech. Used it. 4 years in production. Unsurpassable. Here comes Ignis (first, official and unrestricted, unregulated child) and Ardor.

I wish I had some money to invest.  :P
But then again, I also hope new whales turn up and buy the whole thing. So Jelurida can make my few IGNIS and ARDR tokens worth more.

Well, no. The buyer could have sold his NXT for BTC at 4500, waited, then used those BTC to re-buy NXT at 1800 and then bought more JLRDA. The calculation is valid even if you start owning NXT.

That is with perfect hindsight, though. At the time, we didn't expect NXT to crash as early as it did. It could be argued that the whale caused the crash, by making it look like whales were going to get all the cheap JLRDA.

We still have to wait maybe 2 months till the launch, who knows what the btc/nxt price is then. I'd expect the IGNIS to go up/down with ardor/nxt until then. 2 months is a long time in bitcoin world.

They came from a shuffling transaction back in April last year (16985054599709775607). Why is that a problem?

Hi  :D

thank you for your explanation but I find this strange?!?
is the result of the shuffling not displayed as an incoming transaction in the ledger?

it is very bizarre, these 10 million appeared from nowhere as if they were automatically produced by the system in this transaction ... which makes me think the same as SwissAlps and that someone found the way to produce more NXT but it can only use them by buying with it directly in the AE and MS ... in addition to the scam coins in its possession ... it's too suspect all that  ???

i find suspect the silence of jelurida in this forum too  ::)

Shuffling transactions show in the ledger. However, the public node ledger you linked to only includes recent transactions. It actually says that at the top of the page: "Only ledger entries created during the last 30000 blocks are displayed." 30,000 blocks is about 21 days. Pretty much any account that is older than 21 days will have a balance that seems to come from nowhere on that site's ledger. My private nodes keeps the ledger back for the entire history for all accounts, which is why I was able to find the shuffling transaction.

I'm surprised the official Jelurida website doesn't keep a full ledger history too. My node takes about 4.5GB. Maybe they can't afford that much space, or maybe they are worried about the performance of searching it all. Either way, now they have untold millions from the ICO, maybe they'll upgrade.
