need help to resync the chain (deposits not showing)

Hi, I have both ardor and nxt deposits to my nxt desktop wallet not showing up.
They both come from poloniex and I was told I should resync the chain.
I'm not sure how to do that.
Please help

Do the deposits show up on the blockchain itself, when you check www.nxtportal.org?


When you check the status of your NRS (rightclick the tray icon), does the last block seem stuck on a certain height/time?
