how are the games set-up?
« on: October 27, 2014, 09:39:27 pm »

I see that each game is encrypted and decrypted at the end to demonstrate that the game was not changed based on the betting of the user for each game.

But what about how the games are set? As far as I understand there is no transparency with that process. What i mean is that the system could set winning games when the player is betting low and set losing games once a player is getting hot and starting to bet high.

Nxter, thank you for your question and sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I have been busy trying to get V2 of the site online.

We have a system that random selects the hands that are being played on the backend.

I think you may be comparing flippoker to dice. In dice you bet say 1 btc then you click roll and you get the outcome. With flippoker when you click deal, the outcome is already known for the hand once dealt (verifiable by the hash), then the user can fold or bet as much or as little as they like.

Now in these 2 scenarios it would be better to rig the game for dice since you know you will win x from the player, whereas flippoker the player could fold or bet 1 sat or 10000 sats.

So the fact the player bets after the hand is generated removes this kind of incentive for anyone to rig the game. In saying that i will see if there is anyway for the programmer to have a way for users to verify the randomness.
