Thanks for the info! Now it makes sense.

Sorry, fixed, this is a typo. Had some problems with the actual payout due to probably some blockchain issues, was a little overwhelmed by this. The payment has been made correctly, though.
maybe 0.0082 per share

I also got payed as if the rate was something similar (not exactly) to the figure you mention, and not 0.082 per share. I already sent a pm to valarg/coinomat asking to see if they could help me clarify this out.

Working fine for me.
At the moment NXT operations are not re-enabled yet, currently integrating them with MGW, should be finished today.

We'll use MGW as an exchange to hedge our instant exchanges against market fluctuations.
When offering instant cryptocurrency exchange you run a risk of the price going against you,
so you need to hedge it by opening trades in the opposite direction at a market exchange.

How are coinomat and mgw going to be integrated?

Weekly dividend payment has been processed, using valarmg script (if you have not received it see below). It is a little lower than last week, due to the BTER situation we had to disable NXT transactions for most of the week. Starting from September we expect a significant rise in transaction volume due to the end of vacations and  our new CoinoUSD asset.

For some accs there's no outgoing transactions, so due to NXT architecture in order to receive payments such accounts should provide a public key. If you find your NXT address below please send your public key through PM.

This will be a non-dividend paying asset tied to USD. It will allow USD-valued transfer through NXT. Basically what Bitshares is trying to do now.
You will be able to trade it against NXT through AE, and buy it and withdraw it to fiat through Coinomat. So it will effectively create NXT to USD market on AE.
Received to, thank you!

Will there be a bigger announcement once? As you can see it really pushes BitShares price  ;)

Very excited for the arrival of this. Fiat gateways will be a fantastic development. Will people be able to deposit dollars and get coinoUSD and return coinoUSD to withdraw dollars?

Yes sure! Plan to launch it within days. This should be big.

Exactly! They even will be able to withdraw it to bank cards.
Also there can be very many various applications of this - for example we can offer fiat deposits for exchanges which don't have fiat gateways.  Basically it should be USD on NXT blockchain.

What is backing the CoinoUSD asset?  How can I be assured of being able to withdraw it to fiat?  I suppose I would be taking credit risk with you?

Imagine it as a closed accounting system, we are liable for the amount of CoinoUSD sold. If we sell CoinoUSD asset for total amount of $1000 we guarantee that we buy it back for $980 (if we charge 2%). Actually this is the way most traditional e-currencies function. It is not a fractional reserve, all fiat we sell the asset for will stay in the reserve, we hope to make profits from the buy/sell spread.
The statistics about the sold assets is public, so it should make the whole thing transparent.
