Title: Bitcoinj for Nxt?
Post by: riverocean on July 17, 2017, 07:44:02 am
Hey all,

I'm interested in embedding Nxt/Ardor inside a Java application. Would like to avoid requiring users install/maintain a separate node if at all possible.

Ideally, this embedding would have a really nice Java API like bitcoin4j (//bitcoinj.github.io/). Does such a thing exist?

If not, my understanding is Nxt is a webapp at the end of the day. I suppose I could embed Jetty/Nxt and then talk to NXT through a Jetty LocalConnector. Has somebody already done anything like that?

Also, are there Java clients for NXT in maven central? I see //github.com/ScripterRon/NxtCore but it doesn't seem to have been deployed to maven central. //mvnrepository.com/search?q=nxt turns up no results.

Thanks.
