'Transfer Asset' button changes into 'Delete Shares' button
« on: October 17, 2016, 10:20:58 am »

When you want to transfer more then 10'000 shares of ARDR and press 'Transfer Asset' you get a second screen saying that 'Quantity specified is higher than 10'000. Are you sure you want to continue?' but on that screen the blue button at the bottom has suddenly the text 'Delete Shares'.

It can not be corrected from outside if you did not install a new update. So it looks like a local thing. Perhaps you were low in memory and the text of the button did not adapt fast enough.

The "Transfer Asset" and "Delete Shares" functions actually share the same modal dialog and the label on the button is switched based on the action button pressed in the "My Assets" page.

I found that under the following scenario the button label shows the wrong value:
1. From the "My Assets" page, click "Delete Shares" button to open the "Delete Shares" modal
2. Submit the form by clicking the "Delete Shares" button on the "Delete Shares" modal
3. Receive "Invalid Quantity" warning
4. Click in the background to close the modal without clicking the "Cancel" button
5. From the "My Assets" page, click the "Transfer Asset" button to open the "Transfer Asset" modal
6. Submit the form by clicking the "Transfer Asset" button
7. Receive "Invalid Quantity" warning
At this time the button label will switch back to "Delete Shares" even though the request type and modal are for "Transfer Asset"
The reason for this problem is that upon error condition the form is unlocked and the button is reset using the following Bootstrap code:
Code: [Select]
var $btn = $(this);
...
$btn.button("reset");

The button reset call, changes the text of the button from "Submitting..." to the first text it had and not to the previous text as it should.
To workaround this problem we no longer change the button text which will simply say "Submit" in both instances of the modal
This fix will be included in the next release.
