Check my math, but I think that is an annual rate of 47-67%!!!!

Yes, the currently expected yearly return will be around this percentage. But this is obviously depending on the development of the swap rate on bitfinex.

USDbitfnx is a great asset, but it is not about buying NXT (actually it is about selling NXT or BTC).

I can't just send out assets because every USD must be accounted for. The promotion I run, I had deposited extra USD into that account and sent out my own funds.

Well, I will always offer USDbitfnx at around 2-5% markup, you can also send funds to my account directly. But for small amounts of funds you are best off not buying it really. 1 USDbitfnx is even to small to receive interest, because the 1 NXT fee would be higher than the dividend!
