I feel for greedy investors, because they are just like me. It´s an emotion, soo hard to overcome, that i wonder, if people who did, are as cold as a rock.
I guess, people who are super successful in trading, probably have not many friends left, seriously . .

I'm not so sure about that. I understand the difficulty of keeping emotions out of investing, but i think you can succesfully distinguish your feelings as a person and in a professional surrounding. Poker players especially need to be able to lose money and keeping their calm. I dont know how nice people they are though.

I actually leave some space for my emotions in investing. For example, my stock fund consist mostly of ETF's and other mutual funds, which are diversified and safe. However, they are boring, but it relaxes me to know that my funds are most likely safe. Cryptocurrencies are my way of "gambling". I need the risk, i like it, but i must always know that one day, i can wake up and see my balance at 0. That's why i'm not angry at no-one.  :) Loss aversion.

There is a small chance of payment still coming, but i'm just too tired of believing talks anymore. I want to see some withdrawals next.  ;D

Switching between private and professional ?
I think, we´re either, or.
"Poker-players" can do that, but we´re not . .

Well, there is finally some news from Chris at LTCgear. He's done a lot of posting and question answering on the litecointalk forums yesterday. Still no word on exactly when and if balances will be able to be withdrawn, but he claims sometime in the next week people's account balances should start becoming live. I don't want to get people's hopes up prematurely, because this is essentially the same thing he said a few weeks ago, but there is some possibility we will be up and running again soon.

This thread posting has a nice summary of all the communication received from Chris (Beekeeper) so far. https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=24666.msg252252#msg252252

Positive thoughts...  :)

I thought the most interesting part was where he said he had no plans to sell gen 2 shares anymore.  Which go can go one of three ways.  1.  New shares can only be accumulated through payment share conversions.  2.  New shares are kept for himself and 3. Shares are auctioned to the highest bidder.  I think #1 is the most likely scenario which would limit his customer base ( and headaches).  I think that is why the auctions portion of his website is there.  This would make it to where one could only become a new customer by buying from an existing account which completely eliminates the way that the fake shares were created in the first place(through the webstore).  I do believe he is legit and we will get paid.  I hope he processes (cleans) the accounts in the order they were created, which would not put LTCshare at the back of the line.

"Updates Tomorrow" forever repeating on the LTCgear page. I have no idea. It seems we've all been ponzi'd.  Maybe not though, guess we shall see.

LTCshare2G shareholders have 12/19, 12/26, 1/2, 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, and 4/24  payouts due from the LTCGEAR portion. (Just keeping track, if they ever pay.)

Looks like the maintenance week ends tomorrow, hopefully that means that our balances will open up and allow for the withdrawal of our funds! I also believe that there is a balance of -9.8466 BTC in the reinvestment fund that will be taken out of dividends in the event of payment. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Should be a very large payout even with it reduced by the reinvestment fund repayment and LTCgear yearly fees (10-20%?!?).. cross your fingers folks, friday the 13th could take on a whole new meaning tomorrow!

well he never has said the payment is tomorrow only that some users had their balances available (no proof, tho), but i understand your sentiment.. it has been a little over three months with no payments, but consider me hopefully optimistic.. I've been following the threads on litecoin talk for months

Did some rough math.. LTCShare2G as a whole is owed roughly ~0.2 LTC per asic share over the last couple months (Didn't count gen2).. I think that roughly equates to 23,770 LTC owed.. Based on 118,850 shares.

At todays rates, that means 167.85 NXT per share (assuming -9.8BTC is paidback to cryptographer), which is 100% return and no reinvestment carryover..

So the question is if we get paid, should LTCshare2G pay out 100% of past returns?? Meaning no reinvestment carryover for the prior payouts..

I think we should take 100% for past due payouts, no reinvestment.. Atleast until LTCgear can show it paysout regularly..

Full payout,
Hmm,

It depends on the persons circumstances not the numbers as I said on the LTCgear SAAS thread, you do not hold any hrlltcgear yet:

1) If you bought the shares cheap and are speculating, then Full payout would be the goal.

2) If you bought the shares at what was a reasonable price and intended to hold, then re-investment into something else to get the asset back up and running and less dependent on LTCgear would seem a better route. This is after all a short blip in a long story.

3) If you bought too many shares and are now desperate to get the money, then a full payout would be best.

So who holds the most shares group 2 or group 1 and 3?

I am beginning to think you are in group 3?

Yes, I bought many shares at a low price for both SAAS and LTCshare2G.. I had SAAS from the beginning and just bought into LTCshare2G during the downturn in price.. I had the patience and funds to do so.. \

My choice to receive 100% payment from past due payouts is only based in the fact that currently there is no good/safe investment in mining right now.. Those who got in on the ground floor will get their full ROI as well, allowing those people to exit their positions if they wanted..

If LTCgear had kept paying out or only missed a week or two, I would still be in the reinvestment boat.. At this point, there is no point in risking reinvestment until LTCgear can show it will pay consistently.. Once they show they can pay on time, I would be all for reinvesting..

Either way, I'm not selling, only buying..

If you are looking for the full amount you should worrying about the impact of all that LTC being exchanged for NXT (if it happens).

If  you want to get the true value either everyone gets an LTC account and takes dividend in LTC or we take the dividend over time and so spreading the impact.

Of course anyone with enough NXT to sit on the other side of the trade will make a descent profit out of the process.

Yep, a big scramble to get NXT doesn't seem like a good idea and I was hoping there would be the option to get LTC rather than NXT, so hopefully I will have that option.
