has the account been cleared??

if so, then we would just be waiting on the ltcgear to allow us to deduct the yearly fee from the balance.

Yeah, well it looks like Chris is not making payments for the missed mining income, instead he is asking account holders to pay the "fee" and then resuming mining payments (ponzi payments) from that point on, with no consideration to missed mining payments or affiliate income. Unfortunately, the "fee" to reactivate this account is about 200 BTC, and I have no where near that amount, so it is impossible for me to pay it and have the account reactivated. It would be a big gamble to do this also, since there is no way to know if Chris is going to keep making payments for the next year or not, or simply take the money and run off.  When I initially bought the shares for this account, they were supposed to be active for one year before requiring a maintenance fee. We only mined for a few months before Chris "shut down the farm" (aka ran out of ponzi money)  and now he is expecting people to pay the "yearly maintenance fee"  (aka ponzi replenishment fee) when the shares haven't been active for anywhere close to a year, and have missed the last 7 months of mining payments.

Sorry guys, but unless someone is willing to send 200 BTC to clear this account, there's not any way we can resume mining (aka ponzi scam)

I really wish things hadn't worked out like this, LTCgear seemed great, and I was too caught up in the awesome-ness of it to realize that it must be too good to be true.  I hope no one lost too much money on this. I will look into selling the account, and if I am able to get more for it than the amount I am in debt for buying the last set of shares (about 11 BTC), I'll make a dividend payment with whatever is leftover.

Due to general complexity of data and associated code, estimated ETA (it may happen earlier) for completing conversion database synchronization is June 24.

Either Bee pays or he doesn't, however the updates and coding changes on the website have been substantial as of late.

It blows my mind that some still think there is any chance of getting any coin out of this. I would see the probability in the "Donald Trump becomes US president" range. I said before that he'll demand fees before he pays anything back - and that's exactly what he went for. And some people actually paid up lot's of BTC.... so of course he'll shuffle stuff around on the page to convince more suckers.

Share conversion (Opt 2) – UPDATE
Deadline to request share conversion to physical boards is July 15.
Each ASIC unit is roughly equivalent of 350Mhs.
A Q&A session will be arranged before the deadline.

@Cryptographer: Do you have any new options in the account control?

Zack, any news? By the discussion on litecointalk.org, it looks like some account were payed, probably these one, which payed the maintenance fee before. Hard to say, the situation around all LTCGear is still very unclear / strange (if not worse) ...

No this account has not been paid and it had a maintenance fee of about 200 BTC which is far more than I can afford to pay. I signed up to receive hardware, so if that ever happens I can either sell it or start a mining farm I guess...

So, any progress after two next months, or still the same situation? Does anybody have some information about Chris and his actions, about some legally / judge actions against him, etc. ?

I believe cryptographer requested the hardware, but i think LTCgear hasn't shipped them yet.. There are people on https://litecointalk.org/index.php?board=98.0 that have said beekeeper admitted that we are owed december 2014 to may 2015.. But realistically, we won't see anything.  :-\

Indeed. But it's very sad, that Zack can't or doesn't want just say us a word about the current situation. Or just 'happy Xmas' to his assetholders ... weird.
