[ANN] ColdHash - Automated trading Asset
« on: January 15, 2015, 03:42:51 am »

I've been disappointed by PAMM, and mining is either unprofitable or ponzi schemes. So, I have taken matters into my own hands and am moving from PAMM and mining into bitcoin tradebots. I have been developing a few of my own strategies, and helping improve existing strategies in partnership with an experienced coder and bot developer, will begin live trading with asset funds soon. If all goes well, monthly dividends will resume in June-July. More details will come soon.

This asset is now mainly focused on PAMM (Percent Allocation Money Management) trading accounts. PAMM essentially attaches our trading account to the account of a master trader, and the trades they make are reflected in our account. Our current trader has made over 520% gain in USD over the 7 month lifetime of his PAMM trading account. 6 out of 7 of those months have been gains of 30% or more, only one month showed a loss of 15%. During that period, BTC dropped from over 600$ to the current value of ~$200, so this is a great profit record.  As more funds are raised, I will diversify into other top PAMM traders.

Current distribution is 100% tradebots80% PAMM and 20% Cointellect mining shares. Future revenue from asset sales will go into the trading PAMM account. 50% of profits will be reinvested each month, 50% for monthly dividends. 100% of mining income will go towards weekly dividends.

For every 9 shares sold, 1 will be sent to the LTCshare2G account and dividends paid to LTC2G shareholders. In the event that LTCgear begins paying mining income again, these shares will be returned to the ColdHash Asset Issuer account.

Asset ID: 11632121299907478243
Asset Issuer: NXT-55P8-YB7S-L94X-3SGGB
Initial Price: 1 NXT/share
Reinvestment rate: PAMM: 50%  Cloud Mining: 0%
Dividend Schedule: Mining Income - Weekly, Fridays.  PAMM Income - Monthly,

Thank Cryptographer,

I would like to say thanks for this on behalf of LTCshare2G asset holders.

I will look forward to seeing a list of providers.
Of course, I will be investing also.

Thank you for your support guys. I may increase the asset cost by a small percentage (2-5%) each week to account for the reinvestment and also to benefit early investors, but not so much as to make it unattractive for late investors.  I will post our hashrate purchases once they are made.

Interested to know which hash providers do you consider to invest in?

Good luck with the new asset!

Currently considering Cointellect, ChabatMining looks good also once they are available again.

Other options:
GAW - I don't think anything GAW is offering is worth buying
KNC - the price of a 6 month SHA contract likely will not make ROI during the term, unless bitcoin price skyrockets without affecting difficulty
Genesis - Scrypt contracts not currently available, SHA mining is overpriced and won't make ROI
Hashnest - Exorbitant fees, overpriced, will never make ROI

So, continuing to search for other options, if you have heard of anything else please PM me.  Another option is to invest part of the money in a PAMM trading account and let a pro trader earn income for us, I see this as a good option but withdrawals are only possible once a month or once a quarter, depending on the particular account, so dividends from those sources would be more infrequent.

Asset ID: 627119971709581578

Unfortunately this asset sports 8 decimals — something also found in e.g. the NSC asset — which means that the asset price will always be an integer.  The lowest price for this asset will always be 1 NXT/share and the first higher bid will be 2 NXT/share, then 3 NXT/share and so on.  Is this really what the issuer wanted?  And how can this be desirable?

I seem to recall that during currency issuance one is warned against using more than 4 decimals for the created currency for that simple reason that currency decimals + price decimals will always be 8.  There ought to be a similar warning when one is about to issue an asset, methinks.

Cheers.

You are right. Zack, the best time to deal with this is now while there are only a 5 asset holders paying attention.
Time for a swap to an asset with 4 decimals...

I agree, thanks for pointing this out kseistrup. I thought issuing an asset with 8 decimal places meant that it had 8 decimal places lol.  Anyway, I will reissue this right away with 4 decimals. Everyone who has purchased so far send your shares back to the issuing account to receive the new asset.

Will these Cloud-mining services mine LTC only or many different cryptos?

I'm considering any cloud mining service, not limited to LTC.  Dividends will all be paid in NXT though.
