EDIT: It's not working after reboot. I get this error:
An error occurred, the server has quit. Please restart the application.

I ran into that error the first time I ran the updated wallet, and I was able to get past it by deleting and redownloading the blockchain. I thought it might be because I had been running experimental versions of the client. Try a fresh blockchain download (it sucks, I know).

Thanks Poof! It's working great after downloading the blockchain again! I am glad Nxt is light and not so big as Bitcoin. Download went pretty fast. 

Great news! I am happy to have a working Mac wallet out there, and really, I have no idea what I am doing, so I am glad it still works even after I monkeyed around with it to keep it updated.

I don't know why but I can't enter the wallet using my password. Once I write it and press return nothing changes... it remains on the main wallet screen. I can just use it on http://127.0.0.1:7876/index.html

I installed the latest JDK java version, deleted the entire blockchain and then reopened the app it but it doesn't work.

Maybe we can determine once you give some more info.
Could you copy paste here what is in the log file, and also the response from hitting submit on http://localhost:7876/test?requestType=getBlockchainStatus ?

Is there a new update for version 1.7.5? Nxt Wallet is stuck at the start...

It looks like this problem is with every new version of Nxt. I have a dejavu.

I have not made an update to 1.7.5 yet - I am still using 1.7.4. I'll get an update finished this weekend though.

I am able to start up my 1.7.4 version of the wallet, though, so I don't know why you are getting stuck. Maybe the update will help.

After downloading the latest MAC OSX installer, it installs a NXT map in the applications.
How does one open the client after that?

Anyone who has a problem with the mac installation please post your nxt.log somewhere I can see it.

We've had 2 issues like this on the support system.

One issue: SocksProxyPort not defined (solved by removing the application and the "nxt wallet" folder and then reinstaling)
Other issue: Log4j: WARN No appenders could be found for logger (nxt.Nxt) (still an issue as the previous fix didn't work)

On both machines there was no nxt.log file in the nxt wallet/logs/ folder
